What Is Microblading?

Microblading uses a hand tool to place fine strokes of pigment just under the skin, following the direction your natural brow hairs grow. The result is fuller, shaped brows that look natural even up close.

Every appointment starts with brow mapping. Kamille measures and draws your shape first, and nothing is done until you are happy with it.

What To Expect, Step By Step

  1. Consultation

    We talk through the look you want and check the treatment is right for your skin.

  2. Brow mapping

    Your shape is measured and drawn on, then adjusted until you approve it.

  3. Numbing & strokes

    The area is numbed, then fine hair-like strokes are placed one by one.

  4. Aftercare

    You leave with aftercare instructions for the 10 day healing period.

  5. Perfecting touch-up

    Around 6 to 8 weeks later, any faded strokes are refined.

Looking After Your Brows

  • Keep your brows dry for the first 7 to 10 days
  • Avoid makeup, creams and sweating on the brow area while healing
  • Do not pick or scratch any flaking skin
  • Protect healed brows from strong sun to slow fading

Microblading Questions

Does microblading hurt?

A numbing cream is applied before and during the treatment. Most clients describe a light scratching feeling rather than pain.

How long does microblading last?

Typically 12 to 18 months, depending on your skin type, sun exposure and aftercare. A colour refresh keeps it looking fresh.

How long does it take to heal?

The surface heals in about 10 days. Brows can look darker at first and soften as they settle over the following weeks.

Is microblading right for oily skin?

Fine strokes can blur on very oily skin. Microshading usually lasts better there, and Kamille will advise at your consultation.

Is the touch-up included?

Yes. One perfecting touch-up session is included in the microblading price.
